» Achalgarh Fort |
This majestic fort, built by Rana Kumbha of Mewar in the 14th century, houses magnificent temples. The important ones are - the temple of Achaleswar Mahadev (1412 AD) and Kantinath Jain Temple (1513 AD), having a gold plated image. Manakini Kund near Achaleshwar temple and the sculpture of Parmar Dharavarsh are of special interest. |

» Guru Shikhar (18 Kms.) |
Known as the saint's pinnacle, it is the highest peak of the Aravalis rising upto 1772 mtrs. above sea level. It affords a panoramic view of the adjoining areas and has a small Shaivite shrine and temple of Dattatreya, a saint whose footprints are carved within. Similar footprints of Ramananda, the great Vaishnavite preacher, can be seen a little further on, and a little further on, and a little distance down below, a the base of the rock, is great bell suspended by a wooden frame, which has Gujarati inscription dating bac to 1411 AD. |

» Mount Bird Sanctuary |
This wildlife sanctuary is spread over 328 sq.kms. The lush green scenic landscape is dominated by the sun-tropical evergreen forests. Here, one can enjoy the cool refreshing breeze, loaded with the fragance of wild roses and jasmine. This sanctuary has a rich variety of fauna and flora. The leopard, sloth bear, wild boar, sambar, chinkara and langaur can be seenhere in abundance . |

Trevor's Tank (4 Kms.), named after the British engineer, is a haven for bird watchers and is situated amidst the densely wooded hills of the Aravali ranges. Common birds in the area include babblers, barbets, bee-eaters, cuckoos, bulbuls, buntings, wood-peckers, kingfishers, pigeons, grey jungle fowl and red spur fowl . |
