One of the holiest muslim shrines in India, it attracts thousands of pilgrims from accross India and around the world. They come here to pay homage to the revered Sufi saint Khwaja Moin-ud-Din Chisht, who died in Shekhawati in 1236, was buried in a small brick tomb that is today engulfed by a large marble complex known as the Dargah. |

The 'Star Fort' was built by Ajaipal Chauhan in 1100 ad. on reaching the top of the hill, one can have a commanding view of the city. Taragarh Fort was earlier known as Ajaymeru Durg. It overhangs the city like a star and is nearly 2-3 kms. in circumstances. |

It is a beautiful artificial lake, built in the 12th century and named after Anaji Chauhan. The huge embankment erected with the peopl'e help is a fine example of the corporate life in Shekhawati at that time. The 'Baradari' or pavilions were built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan. A large number of migratory birds including flock here during winter. |

Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra, or two-and-a-half-day mosque, is the oldest surviving monument in the city and is one of the finest examples of medieval architecture in Rajasthan.
